Micropress Europe has its office on the campus of the AGH University of Science & Technology in Kraków, Poland. Kraków is a university town with the greatest concentration of students studying earth sciences, and was home to some of the forefathers of modern micropalaeontology: Grzybowski, Bieda, Geroch, and Luczkowska were all linked to this town.
We now publish the “Grzybowski Foundation Special Publications”, and we act as an agent for subscriptions to Micropaleontology, Stratigraphy, and the Ellis & Messina Catalogues. In the future we intend to publish books, e-books, and other occasional publications.
We offer a range of micropaleontological services, including sample preparation, microscope slide preparation, and microfossil analyses, at competitive prices. Please contact us for additional details.
We provide professional individual and small-group training courses at the Micropress Europe offices in Krakow for industry and academia. We look after the logistics of the International School on Foraminifera (ISF) at the University of Urbino.
Our microfossil collections are growing. We currently have nine cabinets of archived microscope slides, arranged according to the publications in which the faunas were described.
We have the only up-to-date paper copy of the Ellis & Messina Catalogue of Foraminifera in Eastern Europe in addition to a selection of other journals.
We are located in the heart of the historical city of Krakow, Poland. Our offices are housed at the AGH, University of Science and Technology.
